Repeals provisions of the Medicare Catastrophic Coverage Act of 1988 expanding coverage under part B (Supplementary Medical Insurance) of title XVIII (Medicare) of the Social Security Act and imposing a supplemental premium on Medicare beneficiaries. Adjusts the Medicare part B premium to such reduction of coverage.
Requires the Congress to consult with elderly individuals and organizations representing such individuals before passing long-term health care legislation.
