A bill to repeal medicare catastrophic coverage provisions effective in years after 1989 and the supplemental medicare premiums, and for other purposes.

Repeals provisions of the Medicare Catastrophic Coverage Act of 1988 expanding coverage under part B (Supplementary Medical Insurance) of title XVIII (Medicare) of the Social Security Act and imposing a supplemental premium on Medicare beneficiaries. Adjusts the Medicare part B premium to such reduction of coverage.

Requires the Congress to consult with elderly individuals and organizations representing such individuals before passing long-term health care legislation.
