Establishes in the House of Representatives the Commission on the United States House of Representatives Bicentenary to oversee the planning and direction of the commemoration of such bicentennial. Directs the Commission to develop a program that will draw upon the resources of current and former Members, scholars, and the general public.
Requires the Commission to coordinate its programs with the United States Senate Bicentennial Commission and the Commission on the Bicentennial of the United States Constitution.
Declares that the Commission shall be staffed by the Office for the Bicentennial of the House of Representatives and shall have supervisory powers over such Office.
Terminates the Commission at the end of the 101st Congress.
