To provide for Federal recognition of the United Houma Nation of Louisiana, and for other purposes.
United Houma Nation Recognition Act - Extends Federal recognition and associated benefits to the United Houma Nation (the Tribe) of Louisiana.
Provides for the Tribe to be governed by an interim government until the Secretary of the Interior conducts elections to adopt a constitution and elect tribal officials.
