To amend the Solid Waste Disposal Act to prohibit the transportation of solid waste from the State in which the waste was generated to another State for purposes of treatment, storage, or disposal, unless the State in which the waste was generated has in effect a law prohibiting nonreturnable beverage containers.
Interstate Solid Waste Act - Amends the Solid Waste Disposal Act to prohibit the interstate transport of solid waste, for purposes of treatment, storage, or disposal, unless the State in which the waste was generated has a law prohibiting the manufacture or introduction into commerce of nonreturnable beverage containers.
