To amend section 5112 of title 31, United States Code, to increase the size and weight of the dollar coin and to provide that the obverse side of such coin shall bear the likeness of Edward Kennedy "Duke" Ellington.
Duke Ellington Dollar Coin Act - Amends Federal law to: (1) authorize the Secretary of the Treasury to increase the size and weight of one-dollar coins; and (2) mint and issue them with the likeness of Edward Kennedy "Duke" Ellington on the obverse side. (Currently, the obverse side of such coins has the likeness of Susan B. Anthony.)
