Amends the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 to authorize the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency to support community reward funds established for the purpose of paying rewards to persons providing information leading to: (1) the identification, arrest, and conviction of a person for a violation subject to a criminal penalty under such Act; or (2) the identification of, and the recovery of response costs for, a release of a hazardous substance from a responsible party.
Permits the President to pay an award of up to $10,000 for information leading to the recovery of response costs from a responsible party for a release of a hazardous substance.
