Requires the Director of the National Center for Health Statistics to collect information and prepare a report on the age, race, marital status, education, and number of dependents of home health care aides and nursing home aides.
Requires the Director of the Bureau of Labor Statistics to collect information and prepare a report on home health care aides and nursing home aides containing specified types of information relating to conditions of employment and to employment benefits.
Requires that individuals not be identified by name and that, in both reports, information be presented in the aggregate. Requires both reports to be completed not later than 12 months after enactment of this Act and to be transmitted to the Congress.
Requires the Director of the Bureau of Labor Statistics to include an occupational code for both nursing home aides and home health care aides in each wage survey conducted by the Bureau that begins after enactment of this Act.
