Prohibits a person from being appointed Inspector General of the Department of Defense unless such person has at least ten years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, financial analysis, law, management analysis, public administration, or investigations. Outlines administrative provisions concerning the term, removal, duties, and subpoena power of the Inspector General.
Requires the Director of the Defense Contract Audit Agency to report to, and be subject to the supervision of, the Inspector General.
