To make technical corrections to the Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988.
Business Opportunity Development Reform Act Technical Corrections Act - Amends the Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988 to make technical and conforming amendments.
Amends the Small Business Act to revise the eligibility guidelines under which socially and economically disadvantaged individuals and Indian tribes may assert such disadvantage for more than one business concern.
Requires that applications for participation in the Minority Small Business and Capital Ownership Development Program be approved or denied within 90 days of receipt.
Amends the Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988 to direct the Administrator of the Small Business Administration to designate an Executive Secretary and to provide interim support staff and services until the Commission on Minority Business Development has convened its organizational meeting.
Includes among the designated participating industry groups "Major Group 16 (Heavy Construction Other than Building Construction-Contractors) (excluding dredging)."
Sets the term for the "Alternative Program for Clothing and Textiles," from January 1, 1989, to September 30, 1992. Requires the Secretary of Defense to report to specified congressional committees regarding the Program's operation. Amends the effective dates for certain provisions of the Act.
