Disapproving the 1989 certification by the President with respect to the Bahamas under section 802(b) of the Trade Act of 1974.

Disapproves the President's certification of the narcotics cooperation of the Bahamas under provisions of the Trade Act of 1974 which would deny trade benefits to uncooperative countries.

JOINT RESOLUTION
Disapproving the 1989 certification by the President with respect to the
Bahamas under section 802(b) of the Trade Act of 1974.
  Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States
  of America in Congress assembled, That the Congress hereby disapproves of
  the determination of the President with respect to the Bahamas as contained
  in the certification required by section 802(b) of the Trade Act of 1974,
  received by the Congress on March 1, 1989.
