A bill to authorize supplemental appropriations for the fiscal year 1987 for international security and disaster assistance programs, the Peace Corps, and for other purposes.
Supplemental Foreign Assistance Authorization Act of 1987 - Authorizes additional appropriations for FY 1987 for: (1) earthquake relief, rehabilitation, and reconstruction in El Salvador; (2) military assistance programs; (3) the Economic Support Fund; (4) the Department of State for United States bilateral science and technology agreements; (5) the African Development Foundation; and (6) the Peace Corps.
Repeals specified sections of the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1986 dealing with: (1) reports and restrictions on aid to drug-producing countries; and (2) prosecution of those responsible for the torture and murder of a Drug Enforcement Administration officer in Mexico.
