A bill entitled the "Wetland Enhancement and Construction Cost Reduction Act of 1988".
Wetland Enhancement and Construction Cost Reduction Act of 1988 - Directs the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, to the extent feasible and consistent with public health considerations, to give preference to water treatment systems involving wetlands when it is determined, in consultation with the affected State and local governments, that application of treated effluent waters may be used to enhance fish and wildlife wetland habitats.
Requires the Administrator to consult with the National League of Cities and the National League of Counties to develop guidelines to assess the financial and environmental advantages of application of effluent water to wetlands.
