A bill to establish a task force to conduct a study relating to the reduction in use of chlorofluorocarbons and halons.
Ozone Layer Protection Act of 1988 - Directs the President to establish a task force to conduct a comprehensive study to identify steps which can be taken to reduce the emission of ozone-depleting chlorofluorocarbons and halons and prepare a smooth transition to safe substitutes for such substances. Requires the task force to report on the results of such study to the President and the Congress within 30 days of this Act's enactment.
