A bill to amend title 10, United States Code, to permit members of the Armed Forces, under certain circumstances, to wear items of religious apparel while in uniform.

Amends the Federal law concerning military uniforms to authorize the wearing of an item of religious apparel as part of the military uniform if: (1) the item is part of the religious faith of the member; and (2) it is neat, conservative, and unobtrusive.

Authorizes the Secretary of the military department concerned to prohibit the wearing of an item of religious apparel if it is found to significantly interfere with the performance of duty.
