Class Size Demonstration Act of 1987 - Authorizes appropriations for FY 1989 and thereafter to carry out this Act.
Directs the Secretary of Education to make demonstration grants to local educational agencies having elementary and secondary schools with large classes in order to demonstrate the advantages of reducing the size of classes.
Sets forth grant selection criteria, application requirements, and audit requirements.
Sets forth provisions for the Federal share of program payments.
