S. 1191 — A bill to amend the Plant Variety Act to provide for the credit of fees collected to the account that incurs the cost of carrying out the Act.

Summary

Amends the Plant Variety Protection Act to provide that user fees, late penalties, and accrued interest shall be credited to the account that incurs the cost, without fiscal year limitations. (Currently such amounts are deposited in the Treasury.)

Authorizes the Attorney General to bring an action in any appropriate U.S. court to recover unpaid charges.

Authorizes appropriations.
