Amends title XVIII (Medicare) of the Social Security Act to provide coverage under part B (Supplementary Medical Insurance) of the Medicare program for a routine mammogram for the detection of breast cancer, if the individual receiving the test has not had such a test on a routine basis during the preceding year.
