A resolution providing for a select committee to investigate fire safety in the Capitol and House Office Buildings.

Provides for a select committee of the House of Representatives to: (1) inquire into the origin of the fire in the office of the Speaker; (2) meet with Federal and local fire officials to report and list fire code violations or other potential hazards; and (3) report to the House any recommendations or measures necessary to assure fire safety in the Capitol and House office buildings.
