Declares that the House of Representatives: (1) calls for the cessation of the practice of detaining, without charge or trial, children under 18 years of age in South Africa; (2) calls for the immediate release of all the children currently so detained; and (3) pending the release of the children, calls on South Africa to permit parental access to the children, permit access to legal counsel, make public their names and their location, provide them with adequate food, clothing, and protection, and permit an international organization to verify compliance with this resolution and that such children are not being abused or tortured.
