International Peacekeeping Activities Authorization Act of 1988 - Authorizes the President to transfer specified funds during FY 1989 to the Contributions for International Peacekeeping Activities Account or the Peacekeeping Operations Account of the Department of State in order to meet requests for contributions or other assistance for new international peacekeeping activities. Provides that such transferred funds shall be deemed to be authorized to be appropriated for such accounts.
Subjects any transfer or obligation of such funds to the regular reprogramming procedures of the relevant committees of the Congress.
