Directs the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the Department of Labor to conduct a study relating to the appropriate consumer price index for social security beneficiaries.
Directs the Social Security Administration to provide reasonable assistance to the Bureau to carry out such study.
Directs the Bureau to report to the Congress on such study by January 1, 1992.
Authorizes appropriations for such study for FY 1990 through 1992.
