Amends title XVIII (Medicare) of the Social Security Act to treat a hospital which is located in a New England County Metropolitan Area (NECMA) that is adjacent to another NECMA that has a higher Medicare hospital wage index as being located in such other NECMA for purposes of applying the wage index.
