A bill to amend title 39, United States Code, and the Comprehensive Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Act of 1970 to provide certain authorities to the Postal Service, and for other purposes.
Postal Service Drug Control Act of 1988 - Amends the Comprehensive Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Act of 1970 to authorize the Postal Service to exercise forfeiture authority and to perform enforcement functions under such Act.
Provides that amounts deposited in the Postal Service Fund from civil administrative forfeiture may be withdrawn and paid into the Department of Justice Assets Forfeiture Fund.
