Bridge Administration Transfer Act - Transfers from the Secretary of Transportation to the Secretary of the Army, with specified exceptions, the administration of bridges and causeways over navigable waters, including all related authority, functions, and duties. Declares October 1, 1989, as the effective date of such transfer.
Makes conforming amendments to the Rivers and Harbors Appropriations Act of 1899, the Truman-Hobbs Act, the General Bridge Acts of 1906 and 1946 the International Bridge Act of 1972, and the Act of August 18, 1894.
Directs the Secretary of the Army to submit to the Congress a compilation of Federal laws relating to waterway structure administration, together with recommendations for consolidation or amendments.
