A bill to amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 to require multiple disbursement of supplemental loans for students, and for other purposes.
Amends the Higher Education Act of 1965 to remove the exemptions for Supplemental Loans for Students (SLS loans) from certain eligibility requirements under title IV (Student Assistance) of such Act.
Applies special rules for multiple disbursement to SLS loans.
Requires applicants for SLS loans to have: (1) received a determination of eligibility or ineligibility for a Pell Grant; or (2) filed a Pell Grant application and received a preliminary determination of eligibility or ineligibility.
