A bill to amend the Victims of Crime Act of 1984 to repeal section 1402(c) of such Act and to modify the Crime Victims Fund.
Victims of Crime Amendments Act of 1988 - Amends the Victims of Crime Act of 1984 to: (1) eliminate the cap on deposits to the Crime Victims Fund; (2) make authority for such Fund permanent; and (3) earmark Fund deposits exceeding a specified amount in any fiscal year for crime victim compensation and State and Federal crime victim assistance programs.
