International Monetary Fund Audit Act of 1988 - Amends the Bretton Woods Agreements Act to require the Secretary of the Treasury to instruct the U.S. Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to propose and actively seek the establishment of an independent audit unit for the purpose of providing a continuous examination and review of IMF programs and activities.
