A bill to provide for adjustment of status of certain Irish nationals who arrived in the United States before September 1, 1987, and who have continuously resided in the United States since before the end of the period.
Irish Permanent Resident Adjustment Act of 1987 - Amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to authorize the adjustment of status to permanent resident for certain Irish nationals or persons born in Northern Ireland who have continuously resided in the United States since September 1, 1987.
Requires such aliens to apply for status adjustment within two years of enactment of this Act.
