A bill to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to assure that medicare beneficiaries receiving services for which payment is denied under the medicare program because they are not medically necessary or are custodial are not liable for deductibles and coinsurance for such services.

Amends title XVIII (Medicare) of the Social Security Act to provide that when a beneficiary is indemnified for services furnished by an at-fault provider which such beneficiary neither knew nor had reason to know were not covered under the Medicare program, such beneficiary shall not be liable for deductibles and coinsurance for such services and such services shall not be applied toward any limitation on the amount of services for which Medicare payments may be made to a beneficiary.
