A bill to amend the Motor Vehicle Information and Cost Savings Act to require that the passenger motor vehicle repair businesses supply customers with information respecting the origin of parts installed and the cost of available parts.

Amends the Motor Vehicle Information and Cost Savings Act to mandate that: (1) businesses engaged in passenger motor vehicle repair provide to the vehicle owner written identification regarding the manufacturer and cost of the parts proposed to be installed; and (2) provide upon request, a list of alternative manufacturers of such parts and their prices.
