A bill to authorize the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency to establish a Waste Reduction Clearinghouse, and for other purposes.
Waste Reduction Clearinghouse Act of 1987 - Directs the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency to establish within the Agency the Office of Waste Reduction to administer the Waste Reduction Clearinghouse. Establishes such Clearinghouse within the Agency to collect and disseminate information on waste reduction (hazardous waste) technical assistance and grant programs at the State level. Requires that such Clearinghouse provide on-line computer access for the public. Requires the Administrator to establish and collect fees and charges on the transfer of hazardous waste, such fees and charges to be deposited into the Waste Reduction Account to finance the Clearinghouse. Authorizes appropriations.
