A bill to provide more flexibility to the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration in the employment of air traffic controllers.
Air Traffic Controller Employment Flexibility Act - Amends Federal law prohibiting any reduction in retired or retainer pay for former members of a uniformed service during temporary employment as an air traffic controller to extend such prohibition from December 31, 1986, to December 31, 1989.
Extends, from April 1, 1985, to the date of enactment of this Act, the period during which an eligible annuitant who applied for retirement or separated from service is eligible for certain benefits even though such individual has been reemployed as an air traffic controller.
