A bill to amend titles XI and XVIII of the Social Security Act with respect to provider appeals of adverse determinations by peer review organizations.

Amends title XVIII (Medicare) and part B (Peer Review) of title XI of the Social Security Act to entitle Medicare providers to a reconsideration by a peer review organization of that organization's denial of payment for services provided, and to further review where such reconsideration is adverse to the provider and certain jurisdictional criteria are satisfied.
