A bill to improve the administration of the Department of Agriculture commodity distribution activities, and for other purposes.
Agricultural Commodity Distribution Act of 1987 - Amends the Agriculture and Food Act of 1981 to direct the Secretary of Agriculture to take specified actions to improve the distribution and quality of surplus commodities donated by the Department of Agriculture for school and other nutrition assistance programs.
Directs the Secretary to establish an advisory council, whose authority shall terminate on September 30, 1992, on the distribution of such donated agricultural commodities.
