A bill to revise the provisions relating to the 1986 agricultural disaster program under Public Law 99-591, the continuing appropriations Act for fiscal year 1987.
1986 Agricultural Disaster Program Revisions Act - Amends Federal law to require that emergency disaster assistance based on 1986 droughts, floods, and other related conditions be made available by March 15, 1987, or within 45 days of application for such assistance, whichever is later.
States that certain wheat and feed grain producers who planted a 1986 crop but did not have a 1986 acreage base shall not be considered ineligible for such assistance.
Permits applications based on this Act to be filed at any time prior to April 1, 1987.
