Designates September 8, 1988, as Francis Bellamy Pledge of Allegiance Day. (Francis Bellamy wrote the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag in 1892 in observance of the 400th anniversary of the discovery of America.)

Expresses the sense of the Congress that the Christopher Columbus Quincentary Jubilee Commission should include the centennial observance of the Pledge of Allegiance in its commemorative activities.
