A concurrent resolution calling on the Soviet Union and its allies to withhold military assistance to the government of Nicaragua.

Calls upon the Soviet Union and its allies to withhold further military assistance to the Government of Nicaragua and to withdraw military advisors and support personnel from that country.

Calls upon the Government of Nicaragua to: (1) reverse significantly the growth of its armed forces; (2) work toward a stabilization of the regional military balance and prevent the introduction of advanced weapon systems; and (3) separate the armed forces from the Sandinista political party.
