A concurrent resolution expressing the sense of the Congress with respect to the 40th anniversary of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade.

Commends: (1) the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) on its 40th anniversary; (2) all those who worked to create the GATT and have contributed their efforts since then; (3) those who have striven to uphold the principles and ideals of the GATT during past and present tariff and trade negotiations; and (4) the efforts of the men and women of the GATT Secretariat who have worked diligently to apply GATT to international trade and to impartially mediate international commercial disputes.
