Directs the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President pro tempore of the Senate to designate, from among the Representatives and Senators from each State, one official delegate to represent the Congress at a special ceremony in Philadelphia, in honor of the bicentennial of the Constitution and in commemoration of the Great Compromise of the Constitutional Convention.
Declares that the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the majority and minority leaders of the House of Representatives and of the Senate shall also be official delegates. Requires not less than 20 percent of the official delegates (other than the Speaker and the majority and minority leaders) to be Senators.
Authorizes the designation of additional Representatives, Senators, and other appropriate persons to participate in related events.
Makes available amounts necessary to carry out this resolution from the House of Representatives and from the Senate.
