Consumer Product Safety Amendments of 1983 - Amends the Consumer Product Safety Act to authorize appropriations for FY 1984-1986.
Includes surgical drapes within the coverage of the Flammable Fabrics Act.
Provides for congressional veto of Consumer Product Safety Commission (Commission) rules by enactment of a joint resolution of disapproval within 90 days after promulgation.
Prohibits the use of appropriated funds to promulgate any Commission rule or regulation until Congress has passed a joint resolution of approval.
