A bill to amend title 18 to make unlawful a willful misrepresentation regarding a Member of Congress or Federal officer made to influence Federal, State, or local government employees in the performance of official acts.

Establishes criminal penalties for anyone who, for the purpose of inducing a Federal, State, or local government employee to take or fail to take an action in the performace of an official function, knowingly and willfully makes a misrepresentation or false statement to the effect that a Member of Congress or Federal officer desires or seeks such action or inaction.
