Community Health Care Access Act of 1997 - Directs the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (Secretary) to establish procedures for requesting waiver of the Immigration and Nationality Act two-year foreign residence requirement for certain foreign medical graduates, including those employed by U.S. health care facilities or organizations.
Directs the Secretary to report periodically to the Secretary of Health and Human Services regarding the number and geographic location of such health facility positions.
